Myca London
Executive Director
Myca London serves as Executive Director of CAPGAD, guiding organizational strategy and community‑focused programming. A graduate of CAPGAD L.P.’s home‑school/unschool track, she later studied Culinary Arts at Henry Ford Community College. At eighteen, she launched ML Events Management Company LLC, turning her interest in event design and community engagement into a business. Across CAPGAD and ML Events, her work highlights creativity, empowerment, and bringing people together.

Chris Knight-Brown
Associate Director and Creative Arts Programming Manager
Chris Knight‑Brown is the Associate Director and Creative Arts Programming Manager at CAPGAD. She holds a B.A. from Northwood University and has spent the last decade developing expertise in die‑cutting, laser‑cutting, jewelry design, and creative manufacturing. In 2018, she founded Painted Parachute L.P., and in 2023 co‑founded the Detroit Create Design Collective, where she trains youth in advanced maker tools and creative production. Her work centers on expanding access to creativity, craft, and hands‑on learning.

William H. Brown, III
Associate Director and Youth & Senior Program Manager
William H. Brown III is CAPGAD’s Associate Director and Youth & Senior Program Manager. He founded Legacy PC Support in 2006 to provide community‑based computer repair and youth employment opportunities. In 2025, he launched the Tech Materials Processing Center to expand that mission into a full workforce development facility. In summer 2026, Legacy PC @ TMPC successfully trained GDYT youth in computer repair, strengthening Detroit’s pipeline of emerging tech talent while advancing William’s commitment to youth and senior programming.
